Another welcomed government investment in our snowmobile trail system!

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) is pleased to partner with the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario (FedNor) to support the replacement of the Gilbert Creek bridge located on the TOP A Trail near Dryden. Up to $167,798 is being provided through the Northern Ontario Development Program to make the crossing safer and ensure connectivity of local trails.

Nottawasaga OPP and Dufferin OPP Kicks Off Snowmobile Safety Week on Local Trails

Sgt. Schlorff from the Nottawasaga OPP and Sgt Mask from Dufferin OPP hit the trails this weekend to kick off Motorized Snow Vehicle (MSV) Safety Week 2025, running from Feb 10 to Feb 17. Officers patrolled over 100 km of OFSC trails, covering the route from Tosorontio Public School to Primrose to Alliston, ensuring compliance and promoting safe riding.

Throughout the patrol, officers conducted MAS (Mandatory Alcohol Screening) RIDE checks and MSV stops to verify permits. Were happy to report that all riders were compliant and demonstrating safe snowmobiling practices.

A big thank you to all responsible riders for making safety a priority! Stay safe and enjoy the trails responsibly this season.
