When you come for a tour at Harness Adventure you get much more than just « a ride. »
A huge part of the experience is the time you spend snuggling and meeting with the dogs. It’s important to us that you get to know them and they get to know you, dogsledding is teamwork based on a relationship of trust between us and our dogs and we want you to feel that when you come. A big part of why we started our business was to share our life with our visitors so it’s important for us that you get to spend time with the dogs before hitting the trail! MANY guests come for the ride and come back again and again for the snuggles!!

In the evening 🌖 we have adventurous couples who come join us for our Glamping package. Not only do the guests have a great experience but the dogs are extra funny. Exhibit A: LaColle channeling her inner feline and waiting patiently for Marc-André to explain dogsled history and Mushing safety. She gave him an A+ ✏️

Some fun facts from the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon !

Welcome back to another episode of Sled Dog FAQ!

Today's question is, why do sled dogs wear booties?

People often think booties are worn to provide warmth when dogs' paws provide enough heat on their own (science... maybe we can talk more about this another day).

Booties are worn to help protect dogs' paws from injury. In particular weather and snow conditions, dogs' feet can be susceptible to snowballs and splits; booties help prevent this so the dogs can keep doing what they love, pulling!

It’s official - WE ARE FULLY BOOKED.
We have had an overwhelmingly wonderful demand for Vas Vite tours and Glamping this season! We have been loving having all you intrepid Manitobans out so far and are really looking forward to the next couple of months! There are currently no available spots for either experience, and rather a lengthy cancellation list. We appreciate the tenacity of all our guests, making the most of every wintery day- so far there have been very few cancellations! If you missed us this year, we will start taking reservations again in the fall- your dogsledding dreams are not lost!
In the meantime snuggle up with a furry friend and watch some good ol’ dogsledding movie or better yet get out in the snow and have some fun!
