Across The Cove Beach House
All of my vacation homes have been acquired from family members and belonged to great grandparents on both sides of my family lineage—there is a lot of history here. My grandmother was born in this home along with her siblings and many of my aunts and uncles. I'm unsure of the exact date but it was build sometime in the late 1800s.
This home is situated on a peninsula and boasts ocean views from every window. Located on a quiet cove you can enjoy your own small beach area and clear views of the famous Oak Island. In the summer months the cove fills with sailboats and kayakers. Wake up in the morning to an ocean view at the foot of your bed, then enjoy that same view from the eat-in kitchen over coffee and breakfast.
Before the 2018 rental season opens we will be adding a deck off the living room and an outdoor shower.
With modern touches, original beams and barn boards, this house reflects my personal design style. Quiet, comfortable, unique and unpretentious. I completed the restoration with my parents and every inch and detail of this home was my vision. I love creating spaces to be enjoyed and this was done with you—my guests—in mind.
