After planning details for my wedding, housewarming, and other special moments in life, a lot of my friends, family, and even strangers suggested that I start a website to showcase some of my creations and make them available to others. y. You may be here because we share the same appreciation when it comes to the unique details that can make a particular event really pop! The new connections made by the people in the room. The memories created and later remembered. I get it…no, I honestly do. When I couldn’t find a set of wine charms that I felt would work for my housewarming, I decided to embark on creating my own. As people showed up that day, they were so excited to be greeted with a little treasure chest of wine charms that I provided. Eagerly, they would hunt through the chest for the perfect wine charm! In one way or another, they were able to relate to the particular wine charm that they selected and shared these stories with others in the room. Sure, some might consider this unnecessary, but it’s those details that people still talk about. Shortly after creating wine charms, I started creating magnets. Again, I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for anywhere else, so I started to create my own that reflected me and my husband’s personality. Things we could relate to and would make us think for a moment about that image as we hung something with one of the magnets on the fridge or at work. Prior to creating wine charms and magnets, I had decided to personalize our wedding by creating custom vintage invitations for each guest. Some had thought we had them professionally done because of the quality and detail involved. We just wanted people to know that we really cared and that we were honoured if they could join us. Now I always have smile on my face when I stop by a friend or family member’s house and I happen to see one of the invitations or thank you cards that I made tucked away in a special spot somewhere. In addition to the wedding invitations and thank you cards, I created custom vintage table name tags allowing our caterers to place ordered dishes that our 95 guests had ordered with ease and without our guests fully realizing how the caterers were so organized. Our vintage centerpieces, seating arrangements chart, menus, and unique guest book were all thought of, right down to the last detail. In addition to my ‘crafty’ side, I happen to enjoy photography. Photographs are the most tangible way to capture memories and are considered my most prized possessions. My work is more specific to modern images of beautiful landscapes and scenery around the world. One of my life goals is to visit all 7 continents (so far I have 3 down). Some of my favourite images taken are those of sunsets, flowers, statues, and animals. So, please, feel free to have a look around and enjoy my vintage and modern creations.
