Your Wednesday "Missing the parks" recipe is here!

Today we are doing 🩷💜Cheshire Cat Tails💜🩷
The Cheshire Cat is a popular character from Alice in Wonderland, known for his crazy personality and antics. Now you can make a pastry inspired by him!

🐱Tails
1 (17.3 ounce) box frozen puff pastry sheets
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1 3/4 cup whole milk
1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
1 large egg
1 tablespoon room temperature water
Instructions:
1. Remove puff pastry from freezer and allow to thaw at room temperature 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 400F. Line an ungreased baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding and milk. Cover and chill in refrigerator until ready to use, at least 10 minutes.
3. unfold both sheets of puff pastry and use a rolling pin to just barely soften each surface. (Don't work the dough too much or it won't puff up in the oven)
4. Spread a very thin layer of vanilla pudding onto each sheet of pastry and sprinkle one sheet with mini chocolate chips. Carefully lay the other sheet pudding side down onto the mini chocolate chips.
5. Carefully cut the stacked pastry into six long strips. Holding a strip in your hand, twist one end. Lay on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining strips.
6. In a small bowl, beat egg and water together. Brush mixture over tops of pastry.
7. Bake until golden brown and puffing up, about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

FOR ICING
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 drops purple gel food coloring
2 drops pink gel food coloring
Instructions:
In a medium bowl or stand mixer, mix together confectioners' sugar, cream, and vanilla. Divide evenly between two small bowls, and add on shade of food coloring to each bowl, stirring to combine well. Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle both colors of icing over each twist.

Are you missing Universal Orlando?
Make your own BUTTERBEER at home!

Ingredients
2 cups vanilla ice cream
2 cups cream soda ice cubes freeze cream soda in ice cube trays
2 teaspoons butter extract
4 tablespoons butterscotch syrup plus extra for garnish
1 cup cream soda
pinch salt
whipped cream for topping

🍺Instructions
Put all of the Butterbeer recipe ingredients, excluding the whipped cream, in a blender and whip it until smooth.
Pour the Butterbeer into your favorite frozen mug, top with whipped cream and butterscotch syrup. Enjoy!!
