It was my birthday today, except that I am posting after midnight so I guess that makes it yesterday :), and I was able to spend the afternoon outdoors. It was -25C and the sun was bright during the short hours of our November daylight. I had the phone camera out, until the battery died, because I was trying to seize the ordinary, yet not so ordinary moments. Seize them to slow them to be intentionally thankful for them. I did not know I was recording this clip for you, but apparently I was. I must be getting bolder because I just turned older because I am not usually one for sharing video around...
But here's the thing, this little clip is packed with amazing birthday gifts I was given and I am very glad for the the visual and audible reminders of a very simple, yet very grand day. I would love it, if after you watched, if you would leave a comment naming a gift or two in the clip that you noticed. (Please extend some grace for the quality of the clip, especially the part where I turn too quickly and some waves of nausea can be felt...)
