Vancouver Island Climbing and Kayaking Adventures I can provide instruction and guiding in the areas of Kayaking, Campcraft, Rock Climbing, Snowboarding, Skiing, Outdoor emergency Care.

I am a small business, providing instruction / guiding to individuals and groups as well as providing contract instruction and guiding to other companies and resorts. I am certified to L2 instructor by Paddle Canada as well as to L2 by CASI and L1 by CSIA. I am qualified as an Outdoor Emergency Care Instructor. I have over a decade of climbing experience and have taken taken courses with the American Mountain Guides Association and Squamish Rock Guides.

My Story

My name is Aaron and I started climbing, kayaking and snowboarding in Ontario a long time ago. The landscape always left me desiring more and I always had this calling to the West Coast for its wild and rugged beauty and the opportunity to perform my passions on a larger scale. In 2011 I moved to Victoria BC and joined some clubs where I discovered a new passion for teaching. I now have over 15 years of climbing and snowboarding experience and nearing a decade of kayaking experience. I like using my experience to teach these skills and bring people into new sports so that they can go out and have fun with all the knowledge that is needed to be safe.

I now operate a small business that provides instruction and guiding to individuals and groups, as well as providing contract instruction and guiding to other companies and resorts. I am happy to be able to provide instruction and guiding in the area of Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Snowboarding, Skiing, and Outdoor Emergency Care. I am certified to L2 Instructor by Paddle Canada and Level 1 Guide by Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC as well as to L2 instructor by the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors and L1 Instructor by the Canadian Ski Instructors Association. I am also qualified to Level 3 Rock Guide through Whistler Adventure School and as an Outdoor Emergency Care Technician and Instructor.
