It’s been a minute since I posted on here, you can usually find me over on Instagram but I wanted to share a little video taken only 2 weeks ago (pinch me, was it a dream??) in beautiful Jamaica, my home away from home! Have you ever stopped to analyze the process of taking a trip?

There are 4 key elements, every step so important and exciting!

1. Planning - where you get to dream about your perfect vacation, look at different options and pick your spot.

2. Booking - finalizing the details, maybe going for that room upgrade and making a commitment to your dreams.

3. The countdown - sometimes a year or more of anticipation is part of the process. I know this year especially, having a date, a vision and a countdown can do wonders for a peaceful state of mind.

4. Travel - when it all comes together, the planning, the waiting, the packing. You have arrived. Shoulders drop, inhale, exhale. As you sit on the beach, with the waves rolling in, and the pink sun setting in the distance you take your glass of chilled bubbly (or mojito, or red stripe, what ever your drink of choice is!) and send a cheers and a promise to yourself to always say yes to the trip. Because it it’s always, without a doubt worth it. ❤️

A big part of my of what I do is experiencing the properties I partner with first hand. Sometimes my work trips will have an itinerary of up to twenty resort site inspections over a three night duration. In normal times, I try to get on at least three fam trips a year so I am up to date with changes and enhancements, meet with management staff and am in the best position to match you with your perfect vacation experience. While away, I take in all aspects of the resort from the check in process, linen quality, to daiquiri tasting. All the details matter and I know you agree that more than ever we are all looking for the very best vacation experience we can afford, and it’s my job to make that dream come true for you 💕🌴☀️ happy Monday friends!

It’s an exciting day friends!! I’ve been so busy booking all of your gorgeous fall and winter vacations (which I am SO excited about!!) and just now I booked my own first getaway! Beyond excited to celebrate 40th in paradise! ❤️ also, super excited to get on a plane with my best friend since grade 4. We’ve been on quite a few adventures over the years including flying to BC on our own at 15 and experiencing Australia together. But!! This is a trip we have been trying to pull together for years, a beachy vacation together. To be honest life, kids and crazy schedules just always got in the way. Well now can say the countdown is officially on! 🌴☀️🍹

Our beautiful home away from home is back open as of today! My heart couldn’t be more full. Our family has been lucky to visit Beaches Ocho Rios 5 times together and I’ve been there a few times on my own for work. We just love it here, and there is something to be said about arriving, dropping your bags and immediately feeling at home. That’s what it’s like for us here. So what makes it so special? I love the layout, it almost feels like you’re on a cruise ship as it’s built along the hillside. Gorgeous views from the pool, waterpark and rooms. The staff!! They feel like family now, and it’s so special to visit each year and hear updates on promotions, families and all that is new. The waterpark - we were here about a year ago, and my kids (and husband) spent hours upon hours racing down the slides. They’ve grown up from the little splash pad and baby pool (with the cutest little lounge chairs!) but we have spent lots of time there too over the years. The wine and coffee! Two big musts for this mama is great wine and coffee while on vacation. The rooms! As a family of five, we know first hand how tricky it can be for larger families to find a resort that will accommodate us without upgrading to a massive family suite. The standard rooms here allow up to 5, with plenty of room for everyone. I could go on and on, but I just have to share how happy I am to see this gem back open and can’t wait to be ‘home’ again soon ❤️

I’m back, and I am busy!!! All I can say is wow, I knew we would be looking at a big travel comeback but seeing the beginning of it is nothing short of amazing. I have spent the last three/four weeks working through a packed calendar of travel consultations and bookings for fall and winter 2021/2022. My clients have all said the same line “we really just need something sunny to look forward to” I couldn’t agree more! These are high quality premium vacations being booked, truly the only vacation type I will book and recommend from now on. Your experience matters and you absolutely deserve the best you can afford, and it’s my job to recommend just that. The reason I took the leap to start my own travel business is right here. With three little ones, and a husband on 24 hour shifts, it made sense to make the change. I started out with hopes to just keep my foot in the travel world, and casually work doing what I’ve always loved. Over the past 8 years my business has grown more than I ever could have imagined. The best part is, I get to work on a personal basis with my amazing clients providing service and support on a one on one basis, I get to choose the brands I specialize in and represent, and I can work from anywhere - home, a cafe, or the Caribbean! It’s not always easy by any means but I am incredibly thankful to be doing this, to be looking ahead through the most difficult time in travel and to all the sunny days that are near. ❤️

Hi everyone!! I’ve been way more active on Insta the last few years (you can find me at ) but am going to make more of an effort to share over here too! I’m sure you’re feeling it too but the pent up demand for travel is real! It’s been a busy couple of weeks with consultations and bookings and I have to say this is a welcome change from the countless hours spent on cancellations over the past 11 months. It’s been a difficult year, but one that has provided so much growth for myself as a travel advisor and my business. I’m happy to have you here, and so excited to get back to booking your premium beach vacations. Sunny days are near! ❤️☀️

Those peaceful mornings when the sun is starting to rise, the birds are chirping, and the resort is beginning to wake up for another day. The smell of fresh coffee is in the air. You stop by the cafe for a latte and take a stroll down to the beach before everyone else is up. There is truly nothing quite like waking up on vacation. Do you agree?
