Hiking the Homestead Trail at Prince Edward Island National Park

An early morning hike on the Homestead Trail in Cavendish provided amazing views of the back of Cavendish Beach Dunes and New London Bay in behind the dunes. The old carriage road traveled through a mainly spruce forest, crossed several small rivers and circumvented many different kinds of farmers fields from hay, to wheat to potatoes.
