John Riggleman has worked in progressive leadership roles in Operations and Safety at Cedar Point, Soak City, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Water Country USA, Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, SeaWorld, Hard Rock Park, Epcot, Elitch Gardens and Wild Waves. John joined Universal in 1998 as Manager of Ride and Show Operations, later promoted to Assistant Director of Operations of Islands of Adventure, and returned to Universal Parks & Resorts in 2012. He is currently on contract at Universal Creative. John has also held many roles in ASTM Committee F24 on Amusement Rides and Devices, chaired the University of Central Florida/Rosen College of Hospitality Management Theme Park Advisory Board, and was an Adjunct Professor at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and the NAARSO Education Committee. John has also received the IAAPA Certified Attraction Executive (ICAE) designation, and national ADA Coordinators training, and holds a M.B.A. from DeVry University, and B.S. in Medical Technology and B.A. in Chemistry from West Virginia University.
