We’re all set and ready to go for the Celtic Colours International Festival matinee in Marion Bridge this afternoon.
There’s so much work going on behind the scenes! In addition to Celtic Colours staff, there are countless community volunteers putting in innumerable hours to make your festival experience as memorable as possible.
From site and stage managers, to festival drivers, volunteer organizations like the Marion Bridge Community Council and so, so many others), folks preparing meals and snacks for artists, community presenters, ushers, parking attendants, and tons more…
It takes more than a village—it takes an island!
Shout out to literally everyone who helps make this festival happen!
All roads lead to Glencoe...
Made it to Glencoe in the end! (Aaaand a small detour to the Red Shoe 👠 after the Mabou concert). Howie and Beverly are driving 'er on the tunes. Oidhche mhath leibh!
Good afternoon Celtic Heart followers!
Wendy here, writing you from a Tim Horton's in Richibucto, New Brunswick on route to the Gapse coast, Quebec. Squeezing my Saturday post in on a Sunday!
I was so happy to catch up with J.P. Cormier the other day and hear some of his wonderful stories about his musical career. JP has seen it all. Years of heavy touring, years of studio time to make his 19 recordings (yes, 19!!!!) and so many amazing artisis he has been fortunate to have worked with.
Make sure to check out JP's website and watch where he will be performing and how to buy his music!

Adam here again, several days after the end of this year’s Celtic Colours International Festival.
I was having some technical difficulties uploading on Friday, but wanted to share a few clips from some of the volunteers at the Tunes on the Mira show at Marion Bridge.
The second show of the day, Music of the Night at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, ended up being pretty awesome, too. It was unseasonably warm, and so calm and clear—an absolutely gorgeous night, and such a fun event!
Day 9 of Celtic Colours! Wow, where has the week gone? I’m Katherine and I’ll be here with you for the last day of the festival.
I hope everyone at home has had a great week joint us online with the livestream concerts. What’s been your favourite show this past week? Let us know in the comments.
We’be had an amazing week here on the island sharing cultures, meeting old and new friends and celebrating being back together again.
I’ll looking forward to the day so I’ll pop in later and say hello again. 🙂
Goooood morning, Facebook! It’s a foggy day at the moment, but we’re expecting a gorgeous day—sun and up to 19°C. Can’t ask for better than that in mid October! 🍁🍂
I’m Adam Young, today’s Celtic Heart ambassador. I’ll be bringing you some stories and videos throughout the day (as long as my phone holds up…) I may look like I haven’t slept, but I got a whole six hours last night and I’m raring to go!
Say hello if you see me—you might end up on our page today! I’ll be in Marion Bridge this afternoon, Louisbourg tonight, and St Ann’s until who knows how long!
