why would you not consider living part time on the sun kissed shoreline of the North Coast DR....From the Fraser Institute – The Canadian Consumer Tax Index tracks the total bill of the average Canadian Family from 1961 to 2021. Including all types of taxes, that bill has increased by 2,440% since 1961. Taxes have grown much more rapidly than any other single expenditure for the average Canadian family. From 1961 expenditures on shelter, clothing and food increased 1,751%, 643% and 790% respectively. The Increase in taxes also greatly outpaced CPI at just 802%. The average Canadian family now spends more on its income taxes (43%), than it does on basic necessities such as food, shelter, and clothing combined. By comparison, 33.5% of the average family’s income went to pay taxes in 1961 while 56.5% went to basic necessities.

A Pew Research Center poll released in February found that, like me, 64% of workers feel that working at home makes it easier to balance their professional and personal lives.
