We're back in full swing! After several years of COVID restrictions, Pear Tree's in-person staff training day was an absolute blast! Our team is buzzing with excitement as we gear up for the biggest summer camps yet!

Our training day was a huge success, providing our staff with a solid understanding of our mission, values, and policies. They also got hands-on experience to better prepare them for the upcoming season.

And get this - we're bringing back our pre-COVID level of activities! That's right, field trips are making a comeback and we've got some wild ones planned! Get ready to see fire engines up close and personal!

Despite the suddenly cold, windy weather, Pear Tree's 'Our Living Oceans' summer camp students enjoyed their sea kayaking lesson this morning with Jericho Beach Kayak Centre.

OUR LIVING OCEANS: It was great being back at the Vancouver Aquarium this summer after not being able to go there since summer 2019!

As part of Pear Tree's Our Living Oceans camp for 10-14 year olds, we went to the Aquarium to visit the creatures and simulated environments that we've been learning about.

On Friday, the students will be going sea kayaking!

Pear Tree's 2022 spring camps wrapped up on Friday! It was easily the biggest turnout ever with almost 160 students over the 2 weeks, most of whom were also on our hot lunch program!

Pear Tree Education has become one of Vancouver’s most popular educational summer camp companies, because of the quality and diversity of our courses.

For 2022, we have summer camps at 5 x locations: Kitsilano, East Van, Burnaby, North Van, and White Rock!

Our wide range of course types will engage your children in new and challenging activities, including cooking, sports, music and dance, drama/public speaking, technology, art/crafts, and academics.

All of our summer camps are designed by Pear Tree's directors.

Led by experienced Vancouver school teachers, our summer camps offer exceptional levels of safety, enjoyment and education!

Camps are from 9am – 3pm, with options to extend these times using our optional pre-camp and/or after-camp supervision services.

We also offer an optional Healthy Hot Lunch program at our Vancouver, North Van, and White Rock locations.
