Some of the food at Riu Palace Aquarelle in beautiful Jamaica.. the steak house was soooo yummy!!! Buffet was fully stocked and tons of options. There's other restaurants as well for a la carte but we were only there for a weekend.

✈️ Traveling to Cuba? I'm sure you have heard that lately, they are experiencing power outages.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, here are a few helpful tips: (these tips can be used always when traveling to poor countries! Remember yes your resort may look beautiful, but they struggle!)

🔋 1. Pack Essentials: I recommend bringing a portable power bank to keep your devices charged, a flashlight or headlamp for any nighttime power outages, and a battery-operated fan to stay cool if air conditioning is unavailable.
📱 2. Stay Informed: Be sure to stay updated on local conditions through your hotel or travel apps. It might also be a good idea to get a local SIM card or portable Wi-Fi device to ensure reliable communication.
💕 3. Be Flexible: Please keep in mind that some services, like restaurants or transportation, may be limited. I suggest staying at reputable hotels, which often have backup generators.
🥨 4. Bring Snacks: To be on the safe side, consider packing a few non-perishable snacks in case of any temporary disruptions in food service.
💸 5. Carry Cash: Since ATMs and card machines may be affected during power outages, it’s a good idea to have enough cash on hand for your daily needs.
