Our dear Fireflies ☺️❤️
Scott and I were just outside watching the Fireflies flicker through our trees and yard, and it made us think of you. It might seem like we disappeared, but instead, it was a busy year of babies here and just as we were planning on starting things back up for the summer, Covid hit.
How we miss you all! We hope you are doing well and that you are staying safe during this crazy time. We miss doing theatre with you! The rehearsals, hearing you sing, watching you take risks and then watching you shine. Keep in touch if you want 🙂

About a month ago, Scott and I welcomed two healthy little babies into the world. A new brother and sister for Islee 😊. We are all doing well, and just wanted to share our good news with our firefly families who may not have heard yet ❤️

To our Firefly families who haven’t heard yet. We will not be running summer 2019 theatre camps, as we will be welcoming a set of twins into the world very shortly. This summer we plan on just being parents and trying to not go crazy! Lol
We look forward to our next theatre adventure with you all at a later date.

Scott McInnes and I are so very thankful for another successful musical theatre camp with our Burlington Fireflies. What a fabulous 2 weeks. But the part I love the most is watching the kids bond, support, encourage, help, and love on each other. I am beyond proud of the talents these kids displayed in two awesome shows, but more importantly, I am proud of the people these kids are becoming: thoughtful, empathetic, patient, inclusive, and hilarious! Lol Thank you to all our Firefly families and all who came out to support the show. Our hearts are full tonight ❤️

This summer in Burlington we are excited to offer (along side our regular camps) a Little Fireflies musical theatre camp for kids going into Gr. 1 to going into Gr. 3. We need a minimum of 10 kids to run this program, so we're asking you to share our info as much as you can! It will be a fun filled week!

Beyond proud of our Firefly Mount Forest kids! They put together a fabulous performance of Peter Pan Jr and truly let their light shine. Thank you to all the families and community members who came to see the shows today. It was so nice for the kids to have large audiences to perform to. Well done guys. Can't wait for our next production 😊
