I try to never miss Voices of Liberty at Epcot. They're amazing and sing different song sets all the time. Today, they were wearing their new Festival of the Arts costumes. I still like their old traditional ones best, but these ones were nice too. But you don't pay attention to what they're wearing once they start singing!

I've been a busy mouse today! Started off dropping my luggage off at bell services. They'll transfer my stuff to Animal Kingdom Lodge where I'm staying at the next few days. Luggage transfer between Disney resorts is complimentary for onsite Disney guests!
I started off using my Disney resort guest early entry benefit at Hollywood Studios this morning. They let everyone in earlier than the scheduled early entry time, so I was able to ride Slinky Dog Dash & Toy Story Mania before 9 am. This is why I always say staying on site and doing rope drop is everything! It saves waiting in long lines later in the day when everyone who sleeps in shows up.
Since I have I rode park hopper tickets, I rode the skyliner over to Epcot to ride Remy and grab some snacks from the Food & Wine Festival and plantbased chocolate mousse from Sunshine Seasons.
I walked through the Moana Journey of Water attraction for my first time, then went back to the American Pavillion at World Showcase to watch my favorite show at Epcot... the Voices of Liberty!! I schedule my Epcot days around their shows so I do not miss it on any trip! They don't perform in the evening or early morning, so I have to plan around it wisely so I can still get my afternoon break.
Here is the first song they sang today! Beauty & the Beast is my favorite and they performed it so well! (That's what this video is).
I rode Spaceship Earth that had virtually no wait and now, I'm off to check in to my new home for the next few days.

I love learning about places I haven't been! I sure love all the Tiana's Bayou and Port Orleans places at Disney parks and cruises, but when I was invited to this Travel Advisor Training event to learn more about Louisiana, I jumped on it!
✈️Most of you know that I am a fully accredited travel advisor, so I can help you plan your trip to any magical destination worldwide. 🚗 My family has driven much of the west US coast and has driven from Calgary to Florida and back (the long way!). 💭I still dream of road tripping/exploring some of the more southern states sometime in the next few years, so this training really got me excited to do that!
➡️⬆️↕️We learned about the differences in the different parts of Louisiana, where culture and art can feel totally different 20 minutes in any direction.
🍛Each area has different takes on their version of gumbo and jambalaya, but also on their version of Mardis Gras (such isn't just in New Orleans).📿
🚶♂️🚶♀️🛳 We learned about some of the tours and even cruises that you can take in/from the Bayou.
🎸We also learned some fun little facts like: how the phrase "Elvis has left the building" came from when he was on the verge of fame
🥤where Coca Cola started in the US and that they have a museum there with things like one of the earliest Wycliffe bibles to the US
🌾about the sugar Cane plantations working with local fruit producers to infuse local liquers
🎺📯🕺that you can pay to have the French Quarter streets closed for your own celebrational parade or a funeral parade
🤝We got to speak to several of our reps from Louisiana that travel advisors can reach out to when we have questions about helping you all have the best time possible on your trips.
🆓️We were given some fun freebies like Cajun seasoning, mini Tabasco bottles and a Louisiana branded wooden spoon!

Fireworks over the castle - classic!!! There are even Halloween and Christmas themed shows in the holiday seasons! You can not miss this when you go to Disney parks!!
HOT TIP!! I have many clients who tell me they want to go to Disneyland over weekdays only. But did you know that for most of the year, you'll miss fireworks if you do that? Often on weekdays, they do a projection show only instead of full fireworks.
