Dear Friends,
We have made the difficult decision to close the doors on "Between a Lake and a High Place" Our hearts are heavy, but will forever be lightened knowing the wonderful support you have shown us over the past few years.

We will always be proud of the Experiences we created with the help of our collaborators, and we have no regrets of trying something new in the magical West Kootenays. We attempted to set the perfect stage to create memories; mission accomplished!

We hope to see you someday soon in Kaslo, BC....Between a Lake and a High Place!

Kaslo's May Days looked a little different this year on May long weekend....but we still celebrated! The May Pole dance still happened, 128 years running:) Shine on Kaslo!

While this May Days looks a lot different in Kaslo, the community is still, responsibly, making memories! To keep the May Pole tradition alive, the ribbons were hung, the music was played and a few adults, safely spaced, did a dance around the May Pole. A small, socially distanced, crowd spread around the park to enjoy a different experience of the longest consecutive May Pole Dance in North America. And, no May Day's is complete without a parade! Local organizations gathered together at 7pm to give the community a parade to remember, while recognizing those on the front lines. The procession paraded along nearly every street in Lower and Upper Kaslo, and lasted 27 minutes. Parade photographs taken by Miranda.

Magic at The Sentinel last night:) Storyteller Shayna Jones and musician Carly Dow performed together in a warm and cozy evening of "Hygge". Huge thanks to the Sentinel staff and Honey Candles Ltd for providing the ambiance for the evening. See you next year!

What a great night aboard the S.S. Moyie in Kaslo! The Eisenhauers sweet lyrics and harmonies definitely took us on a journey. I think we all felt the waves of the Kootenay Lake below us in the ships memories:) Special thanks to the SS Moyie Historic Site & Kaslo Visitor Centre for co-hosting these special music events...Between a Lake and a High Place.

What an incredible and magical experience on top of Mt Buchanan last night with Tenise Marie and Chris Cullen. The evening was perfect with their enchanting music, the warm sunset light and even the moon that couldn't help wanting to be a part of it. Thanks to Tenise Marie, Chris and all who attended!
