Cappadocia and the Turquoise Coast of Turkey.

Come explore the beauty of Turkey with Metronome Tours. We begin our journey in legendary Istanbul. Istanbul (also known previously as Byzantium, and later Constantinople) is Turkey's cultural and financial centre. The city is located on the Bosphorus Strait and includes the natural harbor known as the Golden Horn. Istanbul extends both on the European (Thrace) and on the Asian (Anatolia) side of the Bosphorus, and is the only city in the world which is situated on two continents.

Our next destination is Cappadocia. A surreal landscape of honeycombed hills, conical rock formations and troglodyte villages, Cappadocia is one of the most unusual places on Earth. Together with our expert guide we will discover rose-tinted valleys, towering ‘fairy chimneys’ and entire underground cities on our journey in Cappadocia.

Our last area on our exploration is Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. This beautiful area in southern Turkey is also known as the Turkish Riviera. It is a long stretch of beautiful coastline where you can enjoy stunningly clear blue waters and beautiful beaches but is also home to many of the most beautiful ancient ruins in Turkey. It also has some picturesque seaside towns and villages making it the perfect vacation destination.

Greek Island Escape

20 May – 01 June 2025

Join us in May 2025 to the beautiful Greek Islands. This small group adventure will begin the journey by exploring the ancient Capital Athens. Fully guided sightseeing of the historic city Centre including the legendary Parthenon. Optional excursion for those interested to the ruins of Delphi where we will learn all about the mystic Delphi oracle at the Temple of Apollo. After our time in Athens is done we then fly off to the Island of Crete where we stay for 5 nights near the old city of Rethymnon . Here on the largest island in Greece; Crete we will explore with our guide the venetian towns of Rethymnon and Chania, King Minos’ Palace of Knossos and the world famous Archaeological Museum in Heraklion just to name a few. We then take a high speed ferry to the beautiful island of Santorini where we will spend the next 3 nights exploring the best that Santorini has to offer including wine tasting at one of the famous Santorini wineries. Our final night is spent back in Athens where we have our farewell dinner and say our good byes to this beautiful country. Tour included deluxe and first class hotels throughout, breakfast daily, some lunches and dinners, all domestic flights and high speed ferries and is escorted throughout.
