National Geographic lists the Gaspé Peninsula as one of the top 20 worldwide destinations. Where the Appalachian Mountain range reaches the sea, Quebec’s Gaspé (Gaspésie) is a coastline of dizzying cliffs, small coves, rocky capes and fine sand beaches. An enormous territory where picturesque scenery reigns, it is one of the top bike touring routes in Canada.

Laurentians - Petit Train du Nord Route-Verte Bicycle Tour

The Laurentians, north of Montréal, Quebec, are a world-famous destination of mountain peaks, forests, lakes, and swiftly running rivers. Le Petit Train du Nord is a 223 kilometre long multi-use trail that winds among the hills. While riding on cycling trails is great, we like to get off the pathways and do some exploring in the countryside. Giving us a full week of riding, we will alternate on a selected route between the Petit Train du Nord and selected road riding.

The Laurentians, north of Montréal, Quebec, is home to Le Petit Train du Nord - a world-famous cycling route mountain peaks, forests, lakes, and swiftly running rivers. We ride the Route-Verte plus extra days exploring.

ACC closed for this year, waiting for friends to ride with again in 2021. CEO Gary is on an old school bikepacking tour. What a lonely trip - below is campground in Lunenburg, the busiest tourist place in Nova Scotia. It now feels a ghost town.
