SPRING CAMPERS! We love having you but we want to make sure you're prepared for the mountain parks...

Early spring conditions still exist in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park and campers should be prepared they may encounter wet, muddy, or snowy ground.

Water systems are not yet turned on in the campgrounds and usually aren't until end of May/early June. Whenever possible campers should plan to bring their own water.

For this weekend (May 7th-9th), the Canyon Dump Station is not yet open. Campers coming into Boulton and Elkwood can fill up with potable water at the Pocaterra Day Use Area on their way into the park. Sani-dump facilities are available at Barrier Lake.
