Just back from dinner. All is fine here at Couples Negril. Winds picked up about 3:30 but it seems to have quieted down now (8:15) and it's mostly rain at the moment. Video shows some of the stronger gusts. There are some palm fronds on the ground and leaves blowing around. But no interruptions to power or wifi.
Now 3 pm in Negril. So far there have been a few sprinkles of rain and some sporadic gusty winds. Lots of people spent the morning by the pool or at one of the bars. We walked the beach for a while. Resorts have chairs stored away so the beach was emptier than usual. Lunch buffet was open as normal. And it is expected that the dinner buffet and one a la carte will be open for dinner. Staff has been great, accommodating and organized.
