Venturing off to explore new destinations and experiencing different cultures have always enthralled me. I love nothing more than planning my next trip before the current one has even ended. On my journeys around the world, I have visited over 40 different count
ries. I have seen most of the Caribbean Islands and traveled through most of Europe. I have visited both Disney World and Disneyland and I am a Certified Disney Specialist. I am a Certified Cruise Expert and have sailed over 20 cruises on six different cruise lines. I have also visited Asia, Central and South America, and North Africa. I consider my travels to be my best education; these adventures have provided me with a wealth of travel experience that you can only gain firsthand. People often ask about my favorite destination. Of course, this is a near impossible question to answer as each is so different from the next, but some of my favorite regions are definitely Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean. And as for my favorite type of vacation…well that varies too. For a relaxing get-away nothing beats a cruise or a fabulous beach resort. However to enjoy a gondola ride in Venice, tour the opulent Hermitage in St Petersburg, visit an elephant sanctuary in Thailand, meditate at Machu Picchu – these are unforgettable travel memories that stay forever with you. Meanwhile, it’s a great big world out there and my work is far from done! Tahiti, South Africa, and Egypt currently top my bucket list. Just back from dinner. All is fine here at Couples Negril. Winds picked up about 3:30 but it seems to have quieted down now (8:15) and it's mostly rain at the moment. Video shows some of the stronger gusts. There are some palm fronds on the ground and leaves blowing around. But no interruptions to power or wifi.
Now 3 pm in Negril. So far there have been a few sprinkles of rain and some sporadic gusty winds. Lots of people spent the morning by the pool or at one of the bars. We walked the beach for a while. Resorts have chairs stored away so the beach was emptier than usual. Lunch buffet was open as normal. And it is expected that the dinner buffet and one a la carte will be open for dinner. Staff has been great, accommodating and organized.
