My quote is about the strength that is gained from pursuing and attaining a dream BUT a dream is rarely realized without the help others. My hubby wasn't interested in hiking to Everest Base Camp so I put it out there to a group of friends. I probably would have "chickened out" if not for Pat Wiebe and David Renz saying yes to do this trip. Thank you my friends!!! It was also the comradery of our group in Nepal that enabled all of us to make it to Base Camp safely. Next up, Peru! Anyone want to join me for my next adventure??

2022 is looking to be a busy year for travel - make plans now or....

At this time 24 years ago I was on my honeymoon in Egypt, riding a donkey in the Valley of the Kings. I love experiencing different types of transportation and in my mind, there was no other way to explore this part of Egypt. We visited the Tutankhamun's tomb and other tombs; explored where the tomb workers lived before making our way down to Queen Hatshepsut's Temple which is where this picture was taken.
