Interested in a day trip to Sandbanks this weekend? Please read this important information about advance day use reservations.

To secure a spot at Sandbanks a day use reservation is required.

☀️ To make a reservation, visit https://reservations.ontarioparks.com/ or call 1-888-668-7275.

➡️ When reserving, please note: You must ensure occupant and licence plate details are entered correctly. Double check your reservation details before you complete your transaction. Park staff at Sandbanks are not able to change your licence plate number over the phone. Entering accurate details in advance will help ensure vehicles move along quickly.

☀️ If you were previously used to using one of our self serve Pay and Display machines, please note, they will NOT be in operation effective Saturday June 12.

☀️ All day use vehicles will be required to check-in at one of our registration offices (Main Gate or the West Lake Campground Office). A valid permit MUST be displayed on your vehicle dash at all times.

☀️ You have the option of printing your reservation at home and bringing it with you. This will facilitate a much quicker check-in process, if all details are entered correctly in advance.

❗️IMPORTANT: Park Wardens will be monitoring beach entrances and parking lots regularly to ensure valid permits are displayed. Effective Saturday June 12, a seasonal/annual pass is only considered a valid permit with a printed day use reservation displayed beside it.
Day use permits ensure entry into the park but do not guarantee a spot at a specific beach. Beaches fill first come first served and are subject to capacity limits.

‼️To keep up with park capacity updates, please visit our Twitter page: https://twitter.com/SandbanksPP. You can also visit the reservations website to check availability for advance daily vehicle permits up to five days in advance of your arrival, and up to 7:00pm on the arrival day.

☀️ Please remember: this is a pilot project for 2021. We ask for your patience and kindness as we try our best to make this the most efficient and effective as it can be for our visitors.
