It’s been a few years since we were at Universal’s Island of Adventure. We did a one park day and had a great time. It was interesting to see the switch in popularity of rides where the longest wait times shifted from Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey to Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and the Jurrasic World Velocicoaster. Yet we were very impressed with all the rides we got on. It was a crowded day but we were satisfied by the amount of rides we got on. Our biggest bit of luck was upon entering the new Epic Universe Preview Centre where we could see the model and plans for the new park opening in May. We were even able to buy pre-opening souvenirs! I have some exciting news! Free dining plans are returning to Disney World!!

You can start booking on Jan. 2 (closing on Feb 10) 2025.
The dining plan is available with the purchase of a non-discounted 3-night, 3-day (or more) Walt Disney Travel package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and a ticket with a Park Hopper option.
Dates include most arrivals starting May 27 through Jun. 26, and Jul. 7 through Aug. 6, 2025.
This is a great offer with a huge travel window!! (It used to be only offered 2 weeks out of the year!)

A day at Universal’s Volcano Bay is great when the crowds are down. The water was warm, the rides went from smooth and tame to exciting and thrilling! Lawn chairs are set up on a beach with plenty of umbrellas or you can rent a cabana.

Loving being at The Happiest Place on Earth! Amazing food is awaiting you at Flame Tree BBQ! We had the mac and cheese with pulled pork and the pulled pork sandwich. We also met Mariah’s “twin,” saw my favourite Disney show “The Festival of the Lion King” and rode out the rain waiting for “Flight of Passage.”  Please get in touch if you need any help planning your Disney vacation.

Epic Universe at Universal Studios Orlando opens on May 22, 2025. We will welcome Super Mario World, The Island of Berk (How to train your dragon), Dark Universe (look out for Frankenstein, Dracula and werewolves), The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic and Celestial Park (an astrology based area). Starting out, tickets can be purchased as a 3 day ticket with one day for Epic and the other two for the other Universal parks. Please send me a message or give me a call if you are interested in booking. Booking opens Tuesday.
