Kingston is a beautiful city situated at the eastern end of Lake Ontario where the Thousand Islands begins, and is renowned for its sailing, windsurfing, boating, fishing and nature areas. It has a marina located right in its downtown in Confederation Park by City Hall, and boaters cruise in from all over North America to enjoy the downtown restaurants and nightlife. It is ideally located in travel time to Toronto (3 hours), Montreal (3 hours), Ottawa (2 hours) and is a short 40-minute drive to the US border at Ivy Lea. Syracuse, New York is also a mere 2 hour drive away. Kingston is known for its summer festivals including the Blues Festival, a Women's Arts Festival, the Buskers Rendezvous, the Poker Run, and much more. The most scenic boating in the world is right here on the St. Lawrence River. We are a 10 minute drive to downtown Kingston, including Queen's University, RMC and St. Lawrence College. We are on the school bus route for both primary and high school. Well treed and very private; provides year-round access to trails ideal for hiking and cross-country skiing. Minutes away from The Mountain Bike Club of Kingston which is a not-for-profit group of riders operating in Countryside District, in the Greater Kingston, Ontario area. A 10 minute drive for access to the Rideau Canal system for canoeing, kayaking and fishing.
