Effective July 3, Nova Scotia will form an Atlantic Bubble with New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, allowing Atlantic Canadians to travel within the region without having to self-isolate.

Do you need to Self-quarantine? Worried your children will go stir crazy at home and could use a little stay-cation?

Palmerhouse Properties is still accepting guests and want to make things in your life a little easier.

At Palmerhouse Properties, we are taking precautions to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Our units are extensively cleaned and disinfected between each guest. All hard surfaces are disinfection, laundry is washed on sanitary cycles and we have limited the cleaning crew to only a handful of people allowed to enter the unit between guests.

We have removed items such as throw cushions that cannot be sanitized between every guest in a timely manner.

Oh and we are well stocked in Toilet paper!

We are offering any guest that needs to self-quarantine themselves from the public or even from family members returning from outside the country a 15% discount on stays 2 weeks or longer.

We would like to also open our doors to any Health Care professionals that need a place to crash between long shifts.

We have 2 units on Queen Street in Halifax that are within walking distance to the hospitals. 3 other units on Queen Street in Downtown Dartmouth.

I recently tried Chocolate Hackers on Robie Street and OMG- this cookie was the yummiest thing that I have ever ate. It was so yummy that I am officially mad at the company because I can NOT get the darn things out of my head. The chocolates are made straight from the Cacao bean in the store. Chocolate Hackers are going to be my go-to recommendation for a must try while in Halifax. And added to my welcome basket for guests!

Top unit bath has been undergoing a major overhaul. But it’s starting to finally take shape. Over 2 hours spent at the tile store yesterday, we finally have a decision on the tiles and they will be installed shortly.

It’s an In-service day at school today, on a Friday before a long weekend. So what do I do? Take all 3 children to Costco to get supplies for the Dartmouth units... 2 carts overflowing, an overtired 2 year old and a mom who wore a heavy wool sweater in May, Costco Dartmouth Crossing May never recover. I’ll be back next week, alone to finish.

YES!!! Kitchen flooring going down in the kitchen on the top flat. Husband and contractor were a tad scared of my vision on these but.... YES! I’m in love!😍

The kitchens are starting to take shape. Middle unit is going from chocolate brown, flat front cabinets to an upcycle design. Top unit has cabinets remove, 3 layers of old flooring removed and a new subfloor laid down.
