WE-CAN Client Profile: Alex Kriss is the owner of DesignScape Travel Consulting based in Kingston.
After spending much of her time riding horses competitively around the world, Alex caught the travel bug.
She went on to have a career managing restaurants and in 2024, she combined her passion for travel and hospitality by launching her new business.
“I began this journey with a love for customer service and the dream of creating my own business,” Alex shares. “I love working with people and providing excellent client experiences. It brings me great joy to help others live out their travel dreams.”
Alex’s clients include groups and individuals looking for in-depth travel planning to assist with highly customized experiences and unique itineraries.
“As a consultant, I combine my knowledge and expertise with an advisory approach to helping my clients,” she notes. “Based on my personal knowledge and professional experience, my clients feel confident booking their dream vacations for the best value.”
Alex was the first Canadian graduate of the prestigious KORE Travel Education Program and is currently a brand ambassador. This program, along with real-world experience as a travel consultant, has provided Alex with extensive knowledge and expertise.
