Current Mood
It's no secret the last 12 months have been a bit of a sh*t show professionally but if I am being honest, I've never been more proud to be an events + travel industry professional.
The way we have been able to show up and save clients from really sticky situations over the last 12 months has reminded me, more than ever, the importance of what we do and why we do it.
I am crazy obsessed with this industry and helping my clients navigate bringing their event dreams to life - despite the wrench Covid has thrown in the event space.
Now I am not gonna pretend to know what the heck is happening with Covid and events + travel, here are a few tips that I CAN tell you:
✨ if you were hosting events before Covid and you haven't made the pivot to determine how you're keeping that vibe alive, add a brainstorm session into your week - this should be a non-negotiable
✨ when hosting a virtual event, DO NOT FORGET THE WOW MOMENTS - continue to think outside of the box here, dont be basic 😉
✨ don't forget to include some sort of element of food - sounds simple, but this is a GAME changer.
✨look at platforms outside of zoom - zoom should be reserved for meetings, shake it up a bit!
