A great way to indulge in a luxury resort with a more palatable price tag is to go when it is fairly new. Maybe not the first two months when not everything is open and they are working out the kinks but not long after. Right now that resort is Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. Only 17 km from Cancun airport - 5 Star, Adults only, attached to a golf course and all new and stunning. We are looking at going ourselves soon.
