Sharing this recipe for everyone who has an abundance of tomatoes. This salad was so refreshing. I cut the red tomatoes in big chunks and although the recipe doesn't call for it I added thinly sliced green tomatoes. Sounds weird, but they are very good. I also added goat cheese. Bocconcini and avocado would be a wonderful addition to this recipe! Or, try your own spin on it. Enjoy. :)

Why Mountain Chickadee?

Hello! My name is Lana and I am your virtual assistant in the sky.

I have 35 years of experience as an Administrative Professional and recently decided to retire from from my position as a Executive Assistant and a long commute to become a Virtual Assistant.

I chose the company name “Mountain Chickadee” to reflect the surroundings of my home office located in the foothills of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains where Mountain Chickadees abound and I am greeted by their song every time I step outside.

The Chickadee symbolizes cheerfulness, playfulness, modesty, and the simple joys of life. Its song reminds us how good life is and that the greatest beauty is in the simple things. It chases away dark thoughts, turning them to a good mood, and filling our hearts with love and joy.
