South Africa Part 2

After our time near Johannesburg and Hazyview Krueger wrapped we flew to Capetown to continue the Adventure. Wineries, Botanical gardens, a tour of Soweto, Boulders Beach and the most Southern part of the Continent!

Incredible scenery, some very touching moments of ugly parts of history, good wine and cute penguins. My hair at the bottom of Table Mountain and then at the top 🤪

Boring Post Alert!
When it's this cold things don't always go as planned at the airport. However, flights can be delayed for various reasons other than weather. Today was "a day" let me tell you. However, when I sell you a plan with this protection it sure helps soften the blow of waiting out a delay. Under my recommendation and reminder I had a family of 5 today get an etransfer for $700 immediately as their flight was delayed from 8am till 530pm. This benefit can be used for food, a day room or whatever you like while you wait. It doesn't make you get to your destination any faster, but sure a nice benefit! Their policy didn't cost this much to purchase and they still have all of the other coverage intact. When counselling my clients Manulife BLINK FLight Assistance is a huge selling feature.

As I reflect on the past year my heart is full. I am so appreciative to all of you who choose me to be part of your adventures, from the research and planning, the booking and accounting, taking my advice and recommendations and allowing me to execute your plans and see you through till your return home. This is my baby, I take nothing more serious than your trip planning. My business has hit milestones I never thought possible. I grow based on your referrals and trust, and just when I think I can't, I dig deeper and I do.

I have aligned myself with the absolute best Host Agency. The people within the Travel Agent Next Door and the suppliers we choose to work with are family to me. The Travel industry isn't perfect, but with all the work and problem solving we do together we make it the best it can be.

I was very fortunate this afternoon to spend a quick hour with our Collette Vacations Business development manager who stopped in Camrose for some training. I loved hearing about some of their tour concepts, small groups, faith based tours and the pace and inclusions of this awesome company.
