Achieving true fluency in French requires an “Aha!” moment which is often best achieved by immersing oneself in that linguistic milieu.
The French setting and intensive format of this course create an ideal opportunity for students to achieve a breakthrough in general oral fluency, to deepen cultural awareness, and to acquire practical vocabulary and strategies through an experience of living in France. The cultural component of the course will take advantage of the beautiful mountain setting of Chambéry, a city dating from the 13th Century, in the Savoie region of the French Alps.
