✈️ 🇨🇦 Updated entry requirements for fully vaccinated travellers:

Effective July 5, all persons who are eligible to enter Canada and are fully vaccinated 14 days prior to boarding a flight to Canada, will no longer be required to isolate at government approved accommodations upon arrival and will be exempt from the 14-day self-isolation period. ��Before boarding their flight, fully vaccinated travellers are required to provide vaccination information including evidence of their COVID-19 vaccine to the Government of Canada via the ArriveCAN app. Any person who fails to comply with this requirement may be liable to a fine. ��All travellers entering Canada will still require pre-departure and on-arrival testing.

Important update for future travel to Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Beginning with departures on April 1, 2021, all foreign tourists will be required to pay a tax in the amount of approximately $10 to $11 USD per passenger depending on the exchange rate. Payments for families and groups can be made in one single transaction.

Payments can made online at http://visitax.gob.mx/, or at the airport prior to departure at kiosks that accept cash. If guests choose to pay online, they will need to provide the number of people traveling, name, age and passport number of each individual, and their departure date.

Tourists departing the state of Quintana Roo must show their proof of payment at the airport prior to boarding.

On this day in 1944, Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy. Sharing my daughter’s photos. She visited this site, walked the trenches, stood on Juno Beach, examined WW II artifacts, sat on the Canadian War Memorial and found an engraving of our family name.

May we remember the bravery and sacrifice of those who served on the anniversary of D-Day.
