Each year, RTO 9 collaborates closely with tourism partners to enrich experiential tourism across the South Eastern Ontario region. The Partnership Fund is specifically designed to establish robust partnerships that either enhance existing tourism products or introduce new offerings. This initiative aims to diversify the region's tourism landscape and create a competitive advantage in tourism experiences.
Initiatives Supported by 2024/25 Partnership Fund:
⭐Creation of new events and festivals.
⭐Extending partnerships between RTO 9 and industry partners.
⭐Expanding Indigenous tourism products and relationships with Indigenous operators.
⭐Designing and installing clear business signage for wayfinding or self-guided tours.
✅Open to:
For-profit or not-for-profit tourism businesses & First Nations tourism businesses
within RTO 9 boundaries.
