Jesus Gave My Life a "New Start." You can have that too!

"Jesus told him, “I am the Way—yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of me. (John 14:6 TLB)"

God loves you! He loves you so much, that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins. Jesus paid the penalty for your sins, releasing you from the prison of your own past. He paid for your sins with His life, so that you could become a child of God, and have a vibrant relationship with the Father and His Son, King Jesus.

"And this is the way to have eternal life—by knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth! (John 17:3 TLB)"

Have you been searching for meaning to your “life?” You will find “life” in Jesus. He promises that.

Are you are looking for the “way” to know God? Would you like a relationship with the Living God, who created this world, including yourself? You will find the Heavenly Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Perhaps you are searching for “truth,” in a world filled with deception and lies. Jesus is the “Truth.”

Today, Jesus is offering a relationship with God, by believing in Him, “the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I'm sending a new promo, as I'm finally ready to share the painting we will learn from. Most of the picture will be pre-drawn, allowing you to focus on a new painting technique - using "Masking Fluid."

Hey Precious Artist Friends - God loves you and He has had a royal mission for your life even before you were born! Isn't that incredible?

Join me, and our wonderful, friendly group of artists on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30 pm. Our location is Faith Church Kitchener, 3849 King Street East, Kitchener, ON N2P 2E8.

First, we'll sketch this beautiful river scene featuring two relaxed geese feeding. This scene if from photos I snapped along the Grand River this morning. To finish, we'll apply some watery, watercolour paint from pencils, to create this nature scene. YAY GOD!

This might seem intimidating, but we'll break it down step-by-step. :)

I was approached recently by a man who wanted my advice in a very difficult situation. The man, who was a husband and father, had decided to leave his wife for another woman. He felt this other woman was his “soul mate,” and he believed God had spoken to him and told him to divorce his wife to marry the other woman.

When he asked me for counsel in this matter, I immediately knew God’s will for the situation. I told him in no uncertain terms that it was absolutely not God’s will for him to leave his wife for another woman, and that God had not told him to do so.

Last week I posted this little painting of Jesus and a boy, with my contact info. I actually paid for a Facebook ad, but was told the next day that the picture was a possible infringement of copyright.

My Facebook ad was blocked and my account disabled from placing any further ads with Meta (Facebook). The painting was flagged by people in various countries. Then I was told the ad was actually blocked because my account had been hacked. The ad is still be blocked for some reason.

Just want to warn people that the days of sharing Jesus on Facebook appear to be numbered. :(

If you have a child who would like to have art lessons, I'm currently teaching a Watercolour Painting with Pencils class. It takes place once a month. The cost is FREE, but donations are appreciated.

If your son or daughter is young, under 12 years old, I would recommend that you or an adult whom you trust would accompany your son. Most of the artists in the class so far are adults or teens.

In our April class a Dad (our Pastor Devin of Faith Church) came along with his oldest children, aged 5 and 3. I brought special painting lessons for them, and they stayed for the entire two hour class and had fun. Dad did some good painting, too, as he watched over his kids. 🙂

I'll attach a old promo for our previous April 16th class, with details of location.

I'm sure you and your children would find it fun, relaxing and I love to share about my amazing King Jesus for a few minutes before each class. I've taught kids about Jesus and about art for years.

No need to register for my Watercolour Painting classes. Just drop in. If you let me know via Facebook Messenger or email that you are bringing a young artist, to my next class , I will bring an art lesson just right for your child. The next Painting With Watercolour Pencils class will take place on Tuesday, May 20th from 6:30-8:30 pm, at Faith Church Kitchener.

Starting on July 4th at Bethel Tabernacle of Preston, I will be teaching a weekly FREE art class to kids, teens, adults, anyone interested in creating art. I, or my friend, Pastor Roger of Bethel Tabernacle, will share about Jesus there as well. These summer classes will take place every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm in July and August (God willing).

Hey Precious Artist Friends - You Are Loved And Known By God! Isn't That Awesome?

Tonight, Tuesday, April 16 at 6:30 pm, join a great group of friendly artists for a fun, relaxing paint project of a building, based on a house located somewhere in England, lol.

The line art has been created ahead of class for anyone interested in painting without the drawing. Maybe you could personalize the building by changing up the building colours and personalizing the signs to whatever you like.

We'll be enjoying some Birthday Cake together, as my mother-in-law, Elaine, will be celebrating her 88th Birthday. She has been part of our group, along with my son, Daniel, for several classes.

Coffee (Keurig Tim Hortons), Decaf & Tea will be provided tonight to go nicely with the birthday cake.

The line art has been created ahead of class for anyone interested in painting without the drawing. For those who would like to challenge yourselves, you can sketch this building first, and then paint it. That could take 30 minutes. Just focusing on the painting is what I would suggest if you would like an easier, relaxing class.

Hi My Artist Friends,

Just a couple of weeks away from our 7th Watercolour Pencil Painting Class. It's taking place Tuesday, April 16th, at 6:30 pm.
New attendees are very welcome. No experience required, just an enjoyment of creating artwork with other artists at various levels of expertise. YAY GOD!

This is Hilda's Mom's 88 birthday, and I expect she will be an artist in attendance. So we'll celebrate with a birthday cake (God willing). We'll have fun and fellowship, sketching and painting a building from a photo. Buildings are fun subjects, especially if they are buildings you recognize. 🙂

Save the date if you want to have a relaxing, enjoyable evening.

Thank you Jesus, for creating us and this whole world. You came to Earth as a man to save us from our sins. You died for us because You love us and want us to live with You in Your Kingdom. You rose from the dead after three days, proving that You are the Son of God. Now You reign in Heaven with Your Father God, surrounded by angels and those who love You and have gone to their eternal reward.

Someday soon the whole world will recognize You and bow before You, the King of Kings who will reign over all the world forever.

I recognize You as my King today, and I love You, King Jesus! :)

God Has a Royal Mission For Each of Us!

Follow Jesus All The Days Of Your Life

Holy Spirit, speak to me and to my friends who are reading this. Help us hear what You are saying and wanting us to do today. Help us step out, be bold, obey You. Fill us with your presence and power, so that we will share God’s love. Your Son, King Jesus, showed everyone what You were like - filled with love for people.

God, your Holy Spirit filled Jesus as You led Your Son, all through His life here on Earth. When we believe and receive Jesus as our Saviour and King, your Holy Spirit lives in us. Holy Spirit, we need You and invite You to lead us every day of our lives as well.

God, You have a royal mission for each of us. Your Holy Spirit's presence in us will impact the lives of others. Everyone needs the “Good News” of King Jesus and His Kingdom. Holy Spirit, help us tell others about our Saviour, King Jesus.

King Jesus, You demonstrated Your Father’s love for people like us, throughout Your life, healing the sick, feeding the hungry, rescuing suffering people, and even dying for us, so that we could become children of God. Now Jesus, You reign as King forever, returning to Earth someday, and we are invited to be part of Your Kingdom today.

This is Part 2 of possibly many parts of a series of posts. Jesus is inviting you to join Him on a personal journey with His loving Heavenly Father. It will be an exciting adventure that will continue for the rest of your life. Jesus is in Heaven right now, speaking to His Father about you!

Our Heavenly Father has so much to show us about: who He is; His great love for us; who we are; and what we get to do. God has much to give to us for our journey. This exciting adventure with God will bring Heaven down to Earth.

Peter and Andrew, simple fishermen, joined Jesus as His disciples, on the adventure. Through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, living inside them, they along with others, changed the world by sharing the Good News of Jesus and showing people God's love. :)

Can We Bring Heaven to Earth?

Part 1 of many...

The Story of Bungoma Children For Jesus

Can you imagine going to the store for groceries, and watching 2000 kids singing, dancing and marching through the streets of your city carrying banners saying “This City Belongs to Jesus?” This is what happened in Bungoma, Kenya in 2002.

Heaven “opened up” and God’s presence touched that city. Could this happen in Waterloo Region where I live? I believe it can!

Hospitals, prisons, businesses, churches and schools were all changing. God was using his children to bring Heaven to Earth.

God can and wants to use you and me to do this in our communities.

Are you interested in spending a relaxing couple of hours, painting with watercolour pencils? It's a lot of fun learning and creating with a fun group of fellow artists.

Watercolours can be challenging, but the feeling of success with a good effort helps you to realize, yes, I can create beautiful art. Watercolour pencils are a great way to get started with watercolours. I use them in many of my paintings, including the fox, bird and mice painting we will try, shown below.

We'll have fun painting this beautiful nature scene. If you like a drawing challenge, you can sketch out this cute nature scene yourself. Animals are one of my favourite subjects. I have found out that animals never seem to notice our mistakes, lol. 🙂

My first watercolour portrait - first watercolour painting, actually, painted in December 2016. God challenged me to step out and try, not just read books, watch videos and wish. So I did!!

I saw Sophia at a mall with her Mom about six months ago. She's all grown up now. :)

Lord Jesus, may every child and teen I have ever met and talked to about You, be in Heaven someday. That is my desire, Lord! 🙂

Knowing God

Do you have a hero? Do you know someone who is special, or even famous? How did you get to know that person? Did you read a book, or hear someone talk about that person?

How much better could it be if you could meet that person, or even live with them? Then you would really get to know them, right?

Well, that's the way it is with God. Being a Christian is not just a good idea. It's all about being very close to a person... your Heavenly Father.

Just like a book about a famous person, the Bible tells us about God and what He is like. But that is just the beginning. It's God's Holy Spirit that allows you to meet Him and learn about His Kingdom. What is even better, you get to live with Him and be in His Kingdom. How great is that?

How does all this happen? Remember when people heard about Jesus and saw what He did? Miracles and healings were happening everywhere! The Holy Spirit was on Jesus, and they saw His power. That made the people so hungry that they followed Him. They met Jesus because they could see, feel and hear, even "smell" the Kingdom of God.

People don't want to just know about God. When they see God and His power, people's lives can change. :)
