It was a chilly day on Oak Island yesterday at 7C (45F).
Think that's bad? I've got sow flurries here now.
Looked like there was some activity going on the island as there were a number of vehicles in the parking lot. I don't believe they had film crews there yesterday based on what I saw.
Believe I saw Scott Barlow in Mahone Bay later on but not 100% sure.
Beautiful day on Oak Island today! It was an absolutely balmy 10 C. It's practically summer already...😉
Just a few moments after this video was taken, Tom Nowlan made his way across the causeway.
No other activity spotted on the Island.
Bay of Fundy Timelapse
Nova Scotia's Bay of Fundy is home to the highest tides in the world, reaching upwards to 52'!
Witness the Bay of Fundy's famous tidal bore, where a standing wave of water occurs at the front of the incoming tide, a unique phenomenon that is found only in several locations around the world.

Here's a follow-up video to the one I posted last night. Here, you can clearly see where one side of the bay is frozen and the other is not.
I'm lead to believe by others that prior to the construction of the causeway, the area was completely free of ice.
Oak Island, February 03, 2022
Calm before yet another storm!
At Oak Island, it was a balmy 9C today, compared to -21C in my home town of Truro, several days ago.
Who said Nova Scotia was boring? lol
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
The countdown is on...It's almost time!
Oak Island definitely has an unusual feel to it sometimes. Although there is something beyond just the mystery of the alleged buried treasure.
The frequent fog layer that envelopes the island no doubt contributes to its aura. Here's a little Halloween "treat" for all of you ..
RICK LAGINA SIGHTING !
On tour today and dropped in to Oak Island for my guests to take some pictures from afar.
Well, who should I spot coming onto the island other Than Rick Lagina!
He didn’t stop to chat but he kindly returned a wave as he drove on by.
Couldn’t get the camera up fast enough to video before he drove by. lol
Are pirates responsible for burying treasure in Oak Island's infamous "Money Pit"?
The last few days have had amazing weather in the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Yesterday, was no different.
For those who have never been to Oak Island, here's a short video from the entrance of Randall Pt. Rd. up to the causeway connecting the mainland to Oak Island.
Oak Island
A chilly winter afternoon today on Oak Island, Nova Scotia (02/15/2021).
Went to Queensland Beach this morning at high tide. Wanted to take some video for Anchor Tour’s upcoming YouTube channel.
It was beautiful!
