It’s estimated that there are currently about 20 million penguins living in Antarctica. 🐧 That’s about 286 times more than the total number of people who will set foot on that continent this year. That’s about 70,000 people, only 0.0086% of the 8.1 billion people living on earth today.

What do all these numbers tell us? First of all, visiting Antarctica is an extremely unique experience that hardly anyone gets to enjoy. Second, if you’re lucky enough to go, you’ll probably see more than one penguin.

We are extremely shocked to hear the news of the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria. So far, over 5,000 lives have been lost, with over 20,000 seriously injured or impacted by the devastating earthquakes which have hit both regions.

We want to help in the most impactful way possible and have launched our Earthquake Appeal in support of RE:ACT Disaster Response.

RE:ACT provide direct humanitarian action, in the fastest time, for those hardest to reach and most vulnerable.

Right now, they are preparing to deploy a team to Türkiye to assess the disaster on the ground and understand the most urgent needs of the affected population.
