Your fearless leaders would like to thank everyone (all 50 of you!) for joining in our Christmas Mystery Day Trip! We loved to hear the whispering as we drove through the countryside, hearing everyone try and guess where we were going!

The best part for us was hearing so much positive feedback on how much you all enjoyed yourselves and thanked us for organizing a great day for you!

Mystery stop # 2 and an added sweet surprise!

We saw the Sounds of Christmas in Waterloo and it was top notch! Everyone enjoyed it! So much so, they’d go back again next year!

What they didn’t know was during the show, we snuck out with the bus driver and drove to St Jacob’s Market to pick up warm, fresh apple fritters for everyone to enjoy on the bus! We love to add the WOW factor whenever we can!

We’ve been enjoying our Christmas Mystery day trip and we’re only halfway through!

Our lunch stop was at the historic Puddicombe House in New Hamburg where we enjoyed a delicious meal and dessert! We are full! Stay-tuned for the next mystery stop!

Who's excited for our Christmas Mystery Day Trip in just 3 days November 29!

Here's some reminders!

For those being dropped off at Wellingstone Christian Home, the entrance is at 1415 Upper Wellington St., not the Stone Church Road entrance. The bus will pull up at the 1415 front door entrance. Remember, you cannot leave your cars there.


For those using the Ancaster pick up – Grace Community Christian Reformed Church, the address Is 70 Garner Rd. E. (Hwy. 53). Please give yourself extra time to get there as there is ongoing construction on Garner Road and only the Westbound lane is accessible. The alternative route should show on Google Maps. The church has given me the following instructions: “Garner Road is under construction and is only open with one lane going Westbound. This shouldn’t cause any difficulties accessing our church.”


As this is a Christmas-themed day trip, let’s get in the festive spirit! Whether you have an “ugly” or fun Christmas sweater or top, or Christmas hat, blouse or just something red, let’s have some fun! There just might be a prize for the most creative!! Nice jeans are ok too – we’re not going anywhere fancy.


The weather is calling for flurries and cold temperatures – be sure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Don’t forget your twoonie or two loonies per person for the bus driver. I will collect this from everyone once we are all on the bus.

We’ll have some snacks on the bus, and a bottle of water for everyone that you can refill if need be.

We’ll also have a very special treat for you on our way home! We’re just full of mysteries here!

We’re very excited to see you all! If for some reason you cannot make it and must cancel last minute, be sure to let me know by calling or texting 905-512-5522.

Monday Memories!

On this day in 2017, our group was returning home from an amazing trip to Lancaster, PA. It was a beautiful day for an outdoor picnic lunch and our bus driver, who had a drone, took an awesome group photo of us!
