CTR provides electronic timing for various athletic events; road races, cross country, marathons & t CTR has called Hamilton home since 2002.

Moving past the pandemic, CTR is still committed to supporting the re-growth of the Sports Endurance industry as we re-build ourselves as well. The timing aspect of a race is still the key focus of our business, but as a timer, we are not just about the cost of a tag and results online, we are a valuable resource with a wealth of knowledge, data, connections, and we can help your event succeed. We

will continue to be there at the finish line to celebrate in the participants race experience and accomplishments, as well as strengthening relationships and developing new ones with our Race Directors.

As we get ready for the 2025 race season, we need some bright new faces to join our team!!!

Like athletics and the running community? Like working outside and making some extra income? Like cheering on the accomplishments of people completing their goals as they cross the finish line?
So do we and you'll be great on our team!!!

We're looking for a few more part-time weekend timers and a consistent 15-20 hours per week M-F (work while the kids are in school!).

Two years ago it was a snowy/windy blizzard. Last year was just super windy. This year it cool, sunny and nice. Still the same problem, no snow for snowshoeing.

It's Conference Week! Chiptime was in Houston, TX for our customer conference to see what new equipment is coming out in the timing world and connect with our network of timers in the US.
Today, Saturday, we're in Toronto with many of our local Race Director's and industry partners discussing all things running events to help make an experience for our runners!

Welcome to a behind the scenes look at what happens before race day and on race day! Timing tags need to be printed, bibs need to be prepared and/or packaged, equipment loaded for the race, set-up the equipment, set-up the computer and then it's off to the races! Results go online, corrections are made and then we clean up and drive home to do it all again the next day or weekend! Our Story

Chip Time Results was established in 2002 and timed 65 races across Ontario in their first year. Now the number of races has grown to 200 events across Ontario that the Chip Time teams will travel to. Chip Time Results has expanded to offer services in Quebec, Newfoundland and Eastern Canada, Eastern United States, Barbados, and Jamaica.
