SROAM is a university transferrable 2 diploma through the Selkirk College School of Hospitality & Tourism. Our campus is set in Nelson, one of the most beautiful small cities in Canada and a centre of mountain culture lifestyle. Life here is unhurried, and the city of about 10,000 is safe, clean, and quiet. The perfect place for studies. Set on the shore of giant Kootenay Lake, there is a pristine

natural environment which offers everything imaginable for outdoor enthusiasts:

- fantastic deep powder skiing
- challenging snowboard terrain
- mountain biking
- water sports
- hiking
- camping

Check out the Whitewater (http://www.skiwhitewater.com/) which is 20 minutes away from campus and Red (http://www.redresort.com/) which is an hour away. Close contact with industry operations is provided through field trip visits that introduce students to industry supervisory and management personnel.
