Apohaqui Village Clubhouse After-School Program After-School Program at the Apohaqui Elementary School. To register call 433-2273 or call AES. The Local field trips may occur periodically throughout the year.

One of the main purposes of the after-school program is to enhance and extend the learning that goes on during the school day. The emphasis will be on hands-on learning and having fun while learning in unconventional ways. Staff will facilitate development by setting up various activities and interest centers and guiding children through the environments as school age children have a need to explo

re and experiment on their own. Children will have time to work on their homework during the after-school program. Students who do not have homework will have the opportunity to read during homework time. Your child may not always finish all their homework during the after-school program but they can work on it during the time provided. Parents are welcome to visit their children during their free time and to be involved during special events. We have an open door policy and welcome any suggestions, comments or concerns you may have.

🎈 Hot air balloons took flight from The Apohaqui Church fields.
🎈 There was a very excited group on the playground as we all witnessed the 4 balloons overhead!

What a great day we had on Friday at the full day program! We went on a big hike in the morning. We found some s**t, a deer bed, a woolly bear and proceeded to our favorite place...... the brook behind Sam's Grandparents house. There, we found the inukshuk from summertime had been washed away by the heavy rain and with the leaves gone we were able to see the River! The children had a wonderful day, and so did their grownups!

Skip, skip, skip The children have taken a great interest in learning skipping games. Like Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear; Double Dutch and just skipping as many jumps as they can without missing!
