Ontario's Southwest Tourism Relief Fund
With assistance from the Government of Canada FedDev Ontario, support has been provided to 131 tourism businesses and organizations across the region through an investment of almost $11 million.
We’re proud to provide support to tourism operators such as perennialpalettes & Ortaliza as they look for ways to enhance the visitor experiences they provide.
Rural & Remote 2
Farmers don’t always see themselves as tourism operators. What they don’t realize is that their everyday life is something of wonder and excitement for people living in the city. And when farmers start growing new experiences and creating places for visitors to relax, that’s when they bloom into the tourism operators we love to celebrate.
We’re proud to provide support to Windecker Woods & Makkink Flower Farm, Tillsonburg Ontario through the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund, delivered by FedDev Ontario, to support them in enhancing their tourism offerings.
Indigenous Owned Businesses
Along with Indigenous Tourism Ontario, Team OSW is proud to support Indigenous-Owned businesses including Walpole Island Riverfront Cottages & Waterwaytours, TJ Stables, and Grove Biking Co. through the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund, delivered by FedDev Ontario, as they look for ways to enhance the visitor experiences they provide.
Culinary Tourism
Having innovative culinary offerings and unique food experiences are what will help Ontario’s Southwest stand out as an attractive destination and bring people back to the region again and again.
We’re proud to provide support to The Dover George and Munch Africa through the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund, delivered by FedDev Ontario, to support them in enhancing their tourism offerings.
Off the Grid
Being Shaped by Nature, Ontario’s Southwest is a destination known for our lakes, parks, and outdoor recreation. These two tourism operators found a way to attract guests to our region by giving them access to the outdoors without asking them to sacrifice comfort.
We’re proud to provide support to Tentlife and Lungovita Beach Retreat through the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund, delivered by FedDev Ontario, to support them in enhancing their tourism offerings.
Live Entertainment
Live entertainment brings people together from far and wide! And we know that these two unique venues are going to attract some amazing talent to attract visitors to Ontario’s Southwest.
We’re proud to provide support to Capitol 33 and Paradigm Spirits Co. through the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund, delivered by FedDev Ontario, to support them in enhancing their tourism offerings.
Craft Breweries
We are in awe of the creativity demonstrated by these two craft breweries in Ontario’s Southwest. They’ve brought to life spaces where wonderful memories are made, and we love being able to celebrate their success.
We’re proud to provide support to Refined Fool Brewing Company and the Red Barn Brewing Company through the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund, delivered by FedDev Ontario, to support them in enhancing their tourism offerings.
Rural & Remote 1
As a primarily rural destination, we know that tourism businesses and organizations in our community are essential to the vitality of Ontario’s Southwest.
