Learn how to use the Crown Land Use Policy Atlas and other maps to find crown land in ontario! We will use the maps to find spots and areas to check out, then drive out and camp at one of the spots! Parking, shuttle, food, and gear all included! On this one night trip you will learn to use the crown land maps, how to scout spots, responsible Leave No Trace etiquette, wood identification and collection, off-grid safety and security, wildlife safety, and more! Any interest in an “Intruduction to finding and camping crown land” trip? One night? Two nights? Would include instructions on using crown land maps such as the atlas and brmb layers, shared ride to actually scout and stay at a site, seperate tents, food, etc. everything but your personal hygiene products can be included. Parking in Stayner also included. This can be car camping, or canoe-in only. Options are as endless as the crown land in Ontario!

Got out to test the sails. For about 30 mins, then the wind died while I was switching to the genoa, so I just anchored and swam, then motored around for a bit 🤷‍♂️

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a group paddle through the Minesing Wetlands!! And what a great group it was! Water levels fluctuate alot in the wetlands in spring, but we’re hoping to get one more group through in June. Keep an eye on the website for the next one!!

Awesome tour through Minesing Wetlands today! Water levels weren’t as low as expected, so travel was relatively easy. Let’s hope for the water levels for a June tour!

Hey Everyone, with Saturday's wind forecast of roughly 20 knots (37km/h) headwind, for everyone's safety and enjoyment, I am unfortunately forced to move the tour to the backup date of April 27th. We did a pre-tour route check on Tuesday, and the interior is flooded. This creates a large shallow lake-like area where wind and waves can become a severe hazard.
There is another tour being held on this date by another organization, so we will ensure we stagger the start times accordingly to keep our groups separated and allow wildlife a period of time to settle between the groups. This will likely mean a 10:00AM on the water time. Meet times for the shuttle groups will be determined in a few days once we determine how many are able to attend on the new date.
