The Performer is a premiere dance competition held at TCU Place in Saskatoon. It provides a fabulous experience for dancers, parents and teachers.
Our 2 week countdown for our 2024 competition starts tomorrow but today we are releasing our dates for our 2025 competition!
We hope you can join us at TCU Place April 22nd - 27th, 2025!
We typically try and avoid landing on Easter Break but it was our only option for 2025 if we wanted to remain at this exquisite venue. We hope it works for all of you! ❤️

We want to thank everyone who made this week possible. Thank you to our 3 adjudicators Julie, Marlowe and Breanna for sharing your knowledge and giving the dancers wonderful feedback. To our amazing staff who help to make sure everything runs smoothly we definitely could not do this without you. To our kind, positive and funny M.C. Chad - thank you for being the voice of our competition. You created such a great atmosphere backstage and all the dancers loved how supportive you were to them - thank you! To the TCU stage staff who always go above and beyond to help produce the best show possible we are forever grateful for you. And to our families thank you for supporting us in our passion to produce this competition.

Get ready to be ENTERTAINED!!! Last year we were lucky enough to have Chad McNamara as one of our adjudicators. We loved his energy and positivity so much we invited him back this year as our M.C.!! We could not be more excited to have Chad as part of our PERFORMER team ❤️
We love to watch dancers reach for their dreams! Providing as many scholarships as possible has always been a huge priority for us. We are very fortunate to have local businesses and families who generously add to the list of scholarships we give out. From the moment we created The Performer our mission was to give the dancers the most amazing experience possible. Their energy, commitment, drive, passion and performances are what inspire us.
This last year has been hard. For everybody. We had to make very tough decisions regarding our competition but through it all we remained focused on the dancers and creating an opportunity for them.
To those who took the time over the last year to give us words of encouragement and support we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
To the studio owners who embraced the challenge of an online competition and found a way to record your dancers we thank you. We know this was an enormous amount of work and our competition could not have happened without all of these amazing videos.
To the teachers and choreographers - we are so grateful that you persevered and were able to find a way to continue to train the dancers and create beautiful choreography.
To the parents - thank you for supporting your dancers! We know you really missed sitting in the theatre and that videos are not the same as a live performance. We hope you were still able to feel the excitement and pride while watching your amazing dancers perform on our virtual platform.
To our 3 amazing adjudicators - thank you for sticking with us the past 2 years! Your positivity and willingness to adjudicate a virtual competition was greatly appreciated. You ladies ROCK!
To our families - Thank you for being there for us. This year we didn’t require you to help at the theatre but we did need your unwavering support and you were there. You answered the phone and you listened to us on our toughest days. To our husbands and children thank you for understanding our passion and reasons for producing The Performer. We love you so much!
