In between you can bake on the sandy beaches at noon, swim in warm water, go fishing, ride a bicycle, fly a kite, and explore natural wonders you won’t find anywhere else in the country. Our artists and artisans can inspire with spontaneous demonstrations

or organized workshops and, of course, a choice of fascinating works for you to take home with you when your spectacular visit comes to an end. Pelee Island is a Mecca for bird watchers as migrating songbirds and waterfowl make their ways North and South again. You can picnic ashore or dine in one of our restaurants… you can stay at the marina, camp at one of our two campgrounds, or stay in a cozy bed and breakfast. At the end of the day you can enjoy a glass of wine and marvel at the bright, myriad of stars blanketing the sky.

When fishing for free, please remember to:

The Pelee Island Winery Half Marathon is taking place this weekend on Saturday May 31!

Roadways indicated below, including East West Road, East Shore Rd, Harris-Garno Rd, North Shore Rd, and West Shore Rd will be partially closed on Saturday May 31, approx. 9:00am to 2:00pm.
