On April 8th, a Total Solar Eclipse will cross North America, passing right over Pelee Island! If Pelee is your chosen viewing destination please keep these important factors in mind during your trip to the island to ensure you have an informed and memorable experience:
☀️ Ferry Reservations, Book in Advance!
The designated solar eclipse sailing has sold out, so if you are planning to visit Pelee Island for the eclipse make sure to contact Owen Sound Transportation in advance to confirm availability and book your spot at Ontarioferries.com
☀️ The only public washroom facility open on April 8th will be the west washroom located behind the Heritage Centre across from the ferry terminal.
☀️ Bringing a vehicle? Arrive on Pelee Island with a full tank of gas or a full charge.
☀️ Looking for things to do or eat? A limited number of attractions and restaurants will be open special for April 8th.
