The Economics Students’ Association (ESA) represents all undergraduate Economics students at York University. Every student pursuing an Economics major is automatically a member of the association which grants access to all of our events, services and initiatives. The ESA seeks to enhance our member’s university experience in the areas of academics, social life and career development. We strive to

strengthen our Economics community by discussing current events, academic research and relevant job skills among peers, faculty and potential employers. If you are looking to get involved with the ESA; we have various openings in our associate program. The program allows students to work closely with a particular executive on a portfolio of duties. Wednesday’s Economics Academic Orientation for incoming students was a great success! We were thrilled to see students eager to kick off the new academic year with enthusiasm and curiosity.

The Economics Students’ Association had the honour of hosting the annual event. We enjoyed engaging with students and discussing academics, sharing valuable resources, and highlighting exciting extracurricular events.

We would like to sincerely thank our faculty members for providing their expertise and guidance to support our new students. We would like to thank professors Tsvetanka Karagyozova, Wai Ming Ho, Berta Esteve-Volart, Robert McKeown, PhD, CFA, and Paul Rilestone, for their constant support and dedication to student success.

We’re looking forward to an amazing year ahead!
