Thank you, thank you, thank you! It’s been a week since we were together riding the waves of the Howe sound and our emotions! Another 𝒮𝒾𝓈𝓉ℯ𝓇𝓈 ℒℯ𝒶𝒹𝒾𝓃ℊ 𝒮𝒾𝓈𝓉ℯ𝓇𝓈 + 𝒬𝓂ℴℴ𝓃𝒾𝓉𝒾 event has come and gone, but not “finished”! If you attended any of the 4 days you left with the guidebook to sustainable wellness that I wrote for you. You have that amazing playlist and the podcasts to support you in ℛℯ𝓈𝓉 + ℋℯ𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓃ℊ, you have new community to continue building relationships with, you’ve got new yoga gear to continue your practice - ohhh 𝒴ℴℊ𝒶 𝓃𝒾𝒹𝓇𝒶 how I love you - and you’ve got all those lush-ious bath products for drifting away into a 𝒟𝓇ℯ𝒶𝓂scape of your choosing any day or night! We hope we nourished your bodies with as much care and love as we poured into your mental and spiritual souls. And of course we were all blessed to be welcomed into the container that held us all for 4 days. We tried something new and different and we love the outcome! If you’d have told me when I signed up for cohort 2 of The Trauma of Money that I’d become a “lifer”; I would have pulled my classic head tilt and eye roll out and laughed at you so hard. 🤣 And I’m happy to say that I would have been so, so, very wrong! 😁 For 16 weeks I attended class every week for 3 hours and cried my wisdom, my fears, my biases, my desires, my confusion my righteousness and more into that virtual space and cleansed away the plaque that had grown around my heart and disassociated me from my body, my creativity, my imagination and even my breath. I let the walls of thick (necessary) armour that had built up in defence of a lifetime of wading through the tsunami of systemic traumas from a wyt supremacy culture fall away and I let ME and my brightest light and love emerge! I am a ♥️centred person,leader, child, sister, aunty and that’s that! I’ll define success for myself thank you very much! I’ll define love and live life on my terms, outside of the boxes that have been prescribed for me by toxic systems! Is it always easy? Hell no! Do I get it wrong still! Plenty! I f**k it up good on a daily basis. Do I still get betrayed and hurt! You bet I do! And I lean into my somatic practices and the #TOM Method even stronger and it all lands so differently now. So much more love to access. So, much more empathy and compassion with which to keep on keeping on in my journey through this beautiful mess we call life! I’ve recommended #TOM to so many family and friends alike and I hope they’ve all got even 1/2 of what I do from this program because that’s plenty to move forward with.
