Egypt held a gala parade on Saturday celebrating the transport of 22 of its prized royal mummies from central Cairo to their new resting place in a massive new museum further south in the capital.

How ironic is it that our office recently had an Egypt webinar and this past weekend, Egypt had a massive parade moving 22 of its prized royal mummies to their a new museum in Cairo. Is Egypt on your bucket list?

At this time 24 years ago I was on my honeymoon in Egypt, riding a donkey in the Valley of the Kings. I love experiencing different types of transportation and in my mind, there was no other way to explore this part of Egypt. We visited the Tutankhamun's tomb and other tombs; explored where the tomb workers lived before making our way down to Queen Hatshepsut's Temple which is where this picture was taken.
