The magic of Mount Baker.

We set foot on the Ptarmigan Ridge Trail in the Mount Baker Wilderness. This was one of the most incredible places we’ve ever hiked. Every step you take, you’re surrounded by panoramic views across the Cascade Mountain Range.

The trail is long but isn’t too difficult. However far you choose to go, you’ll be greeted with some of the most amazing scenery in the Pacific Northwest.

It's always a great feeling to be back in the alpine.

Elfin Lakes is a classic backcountry hike on the south side of Garibaldi Provincial Park. It isn't classified as technically difficult, but the 22km round trip will certainly test your endurance.

Our favourite thing about this trail is the endless views of multiple mountain ranges.

Hiking in the Hollywood Hills.

We originally decided to take the shorter Wonder View Trail via the Wisdom Tree. However, ended up clocking 15km due to how fascinated we were.

Hollywood is incomparable to any other trails we'd ever experienced. Watching over the widespread landscape of Los Angeles makes you feel significantly inferior to your surroundings. It provides the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of California's largest city.

We recommend taking time out for a sunset stroll!

Sequoia National Park is infamous for some of the largest trees on the planet. Here, we stand beside the largest of them all at 2,000 years old - General Sherman.

General Sherman is 83m (275 feet) tall and is located on the General Sherman Tree Trail. This 1.2km out-and-back may only be short, but is enough to mesmerize even the most seasoned hikers and travellers.

Sequoia National Park adjoins with Kings Canyon National Park - notorious for its rugged landscape and deep canyons. Although we didn’t have time to visit Kings Canyon, we can’t wait to visit and hike there in the future.

If you’re heading this way soon, make sure you plan time to visit both!

Standing at over 3000 feet above Yosemite Valley, El Capitan is one of the most visited rock formations in the world.

This granite wall is infamous for its vertical rock face, which provides extremely challenging rock climbing routes.

Many visitors spend time watching the brave climbers as they embark on a scary accent to the summit.

It was truly fascinating to witness.

Hiking through Griffith Park, Los Angeles in the midst of an spectacular sunset.
As we trekked along the Hollywood Hills, we were left breathless as we took in the surrounding 360 degree views.
The trails led us to the infamous Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory and magnificent Wisdom Tree.
